Abstract(s)
The increase of processed products in children´s diet has been followed by an increase in the consumption of food additives. The present exploratory study aimed to: i) evaluate the exposure of a Portuguese group of children, from 0 to 3 years of age, to food additives; ii) study its association with age, gender and Body Mass Index (BMI); iii) identify the main food categories that contribute to food additives intake.
