Abstract(s)
O Inquérito Nacional de Saúde é um instrumento de obser vação por
excelência, que conta atualmente com seis edições. O presente estudo,
que tem como objetivo caracterizar o contributo das várias ondas do INS
por tuguês para produção de ar tigos científicos em revistas com revisão
por pares indexadas na base de dados Medline, e para o seu potencial
de utilização no planeamento em saúde, permitiu identificar 32 ar tigos.
Os temas abordados foram muito variados, indo desde a área económica
a áreas estritamente clínicas, passando por áreas alvo de rastreios, pela
saúde dos profissionais de saúde e ao recurso a medicinas alternativas,
por exemplo. A análise semi-qualitativa realizada permitiu verificar que
as publicações tem potencial para contribuir com informação para os
eixos do Plano Nacional de Saúde “Equidade e Acesso adequado aos
Cuidados de Saúde” (50%), “Políticas Saudáveis” (25%) e “Qualidade em
Saúde” (25%) e para os objetivos “Obter Ganhos em Saúde” (34%), “Promover
Contex tos Favoráveis à Saúde ao Longo do Ciclo de Vida” (56%)
e “Reforçar o Supor te Social e Económico na Saúde e na Doença” (9%).
Foram identificados 3 grupos homogéneos de publicações: o grupo de
maior dimensão estava relacionado com publicações na área clínica,
outro com publicações em áreas relacionadas com a Saúde Pública e um
terceiro com publicações em áreas de características mistas.
The National Health Sur vey is an obser vational instrument par excellence, which currently has six waves. This study aims to characterize the contribution of all the waves of the Por tuguese INS to the production of scientific ar ticles in peer-reviewed journals indexed in the Medline database as well as its potential for use in health planning. Thir t y-two ar ticles were identified. The analysis showed that the topics covered were ver y broad, ranging from the economic area to strictly clinical areas, targeting screening areas, the health of health professionals and the use of alternative medicines. Publications were found to have the potential to contribute to the National Health Plan main axis as follows: first, “Equit y and Adequate Access to Health Care” (50%), followed by “Healthy Policies” (25%) and “Qualit y in Health” (25%). Regarding the objectives, ar ticles were mainly contributing to “Promoting Health-Friendly Life- Cycle Contex ts” (56%), “Health Gains” (34%) and “Strengthening Social and Economic Suppor t in Health and Disease” (9%) objectives. Three homogeneous groups of publications were identified: the largest group was related to publications in the clinical area, another to publications in areas related to Public Health and a third to publications in areas of mixed characteristics.
