dc.description.abstractÉ recomendável que cada laboratório se baseie em protocolos e procedimentos operacionais comuns com a finalidade de obter valores de referência “comuns” e “harmonizados” a nível nacional. O objetivo deste trabalho foi determinar os valores de referência das enzimas AST, ALT e GGT. A metodologia teve como base o documento CSLI / IFCC, C28-A3. A amostra inicial foi de 1688 indivíduos de Portugal continental, dos quais 1122 foram excluídos após a análise dos questionários (com patologias e/ou fumadores) de modo a obtermos uma população considerada “saudável”. Após a quantificação das enzimas por um método enzimático, verificou-se que não houve relevância nos resultados para diferentes grupos etários, embora tenha sido observada diferença estatística significativa quanto ao género ( p<0,001). Desta forma, foram calculados os valores de referência para o género feminino e masculino respetivamente da ALT = 7-38U/L e 10-70U/L, da AST = 11-30U/L e 13-53U/L e da GGT = 5-36U/L e 7-80U/L, através do programa IBM SPSS Statistics versão 25. Os valores de referência, no caso do género feminino, foram muito semelhantes aos descritos nos folhetos informativos, enquanto no género masculino verificaram-se valores superiores.pt_PT
dc.description.abstractIt is recommended that each laboratory base itself on common protocols and operating procedures in order to achieve “standard” reference values at national level. The aim of this work is to determine the reference values of the enzymes AST, ALT and GGT. The methodology used was based on the document CSLI / IFCC, C28-A3. From the initial sample of 1688 individuals from mainland Portugal, 1122 were excluded due to the analysis of the questionnaires, (whith pathologies and/or smokers) to obtein a population considered healthy We studied 566 serum samples and quantification of enzymes by an enzymatic method in Cobas INTEGRA 400 Plus, showed no significance diferences in the results for several age groups, although a statistically significant difference was observed regarding gender (p<0,001). Therefore, the reference values for females and males respectively were calculated for ALT = 7-38U/L and 10-70U/L, for AST = 11-30U/L and 13-53U/L and for GGT = 5- 36U/L and 7-80U/L, through the IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 program. The reference values, for females, were very similar to those described by other publications, while for males, higher values were found.pt_PT
