Introduction: According to ian.iaf, soft drinks, juices and nectars contribute between 3% and 10% for the daily intake of sugars (mono and disaccharides). The recent introduction of the sugar tax in this type of beverage advises the comparative analysis of the sugar content of soft drinks before and after the publication of this tax. Objectives: Quantify the content of mono and disaccharide sugars (sucrose, fructose and glucose) in white-brand and trademarks refrigerants, juices and nectars available on large large commercial areas.pt_PT
