The quality of medical laboratory services is crucial in the total healthcare service providing information to the best medical decisions. Identification of needs: Questionnaires and Visits of laboratories lead to the conclusion that 1) Great disparity in equipment, reagents and in the implementation of quality control and 2) A significant lack of knowledge about internal and external quality control. Training tools: a) bi-annual Congresses, b) Worshops, stages and courses and c) Monitoring results of analytical results of application of quality control tools. Tasks already done: 3 Congresses in Brazil (2015), Portugal (2017) and Mozambique (2019).
